You read it right.During an experiment in University of Chicago,they took a group of people and put them on calorie restricted diet,monitor the effect of weight loss in both of the group.Their diet and workout were exactly the same but group A was well rested (8 1/2 hour sleep) and group B was sleep deprived (5 1/2 hour sleep).What they observed from the result was,when you are well rested,you burn 55% more body fat .So workout, follow healthy diet and sleep well to obtain an efficient result.
