When it's come to being fit or bodybuilding,diet is a major component of the whole frame.Before you learn about dieting,first you have to know types of diets out there and which one suits you and your goal the best.
All of the diet compromise mainly the needed calories and micro and macro that you body needs in order to burn fat,grow or sustain muscle mass .

High carbs diet is for bulking,low carbs diet is useful when you trying to get shredded.Carb cycling is a way where you take high carbs on the day you need more calories and low carbs on the day you workout the least or burn fewer calories.Its an alternative way of taking carbs between days depends on your total body energy expenditure .Ketogenic diet is a diet where your diet is mainly fat,then protein n carbs being the lowest. Paleo diet is a diet based on the types of foods presumed to have been eaten by early humans, consisting chiefly of meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit and excluding dairy or cereal products and processed food,for an example food like meats, fish, nuts, leafy greens, regional veggies, and seeds. Sorry, the pasta, cereal, and candy will have to go!There are few more way of dieting,so  before you start,figure out your diet type.
